Over the course of the past decade, Laura has taken an active interest in learning more about nutrition and natural health. In 2007, she had the opportunity to hear Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride present Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) at an international nutrition conference. Since that time, she has been studying and sharing the work of Dr. Natasha with others. Additionally, Laura attends multiple conferences each year on the subject of nutrition, optimal health, natural health and organic food production.

Laura is co-leader of the Rochester Chapter of the Weston A Price Foundation, an international, non-profit nutritional foundation. The Foundation was formed to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators.
